Weight: 3 pounds / Size: 15 3/4 inches

Changes in mother

You may feel some soft and short contractions are called Braxton Hicks, which is normal, but call your doctor if they become more intense or more frequent or if you have more than five contractions in an hour, because regular and painful contractions may be an indication of preterm labor. You may have difficulty sleeping because of pelvic pain.

After week 28, your doctor will schedule more frequent prenatal visits. Fatigue is a common discomfort of late pregnancy. Sleeping difficulties, aches and pains, weight gain, and anxiety about labor, delivery, and caring for a newborn can all contribute to fatigue. Get as much rest as possible because your body is working hard.
