Baby's growth
The bones of the head are soft and flexible so that it can fit into the birth canal. The baby gains weight during the last weeks of pregnancy at the rate of 200 to 300 grams per week. How do you feel about your child now?

Changes in mother
Colostrum may start to come out of the breast (liquid that will feed the baby until the milk comes in). The last phase of pregnancy can be very pleasant. You will probably feel very happy and relaxed. A large belly usually produces pleasant feelings and the kindness of other people.

After the 36th week, go to the doctor once a week for a prenatal check-up. There are special situations for delivering a baby. Do you know what a Cesarean section is and how it is performed? Decide whether you're going to breastfeed or bottle-feed.
