Week 9 of Pregnancy

Baby's growth

We advise you that even if your body shows only slight signs of pregnancy, try to talk to the baby, as this will stimulate its intellectual maturation process. This week your head is bigger, and now you can see how it bends its arms and legs.

Changes in mother

You will feel tired and need more sleep as your body adjusts to the pregnancy. You will need to urinate more often because the uterus is pressing on the bladder. During pregnancy the whole body is subject to hormonal changes, so special care is important. For example, to protect your gums, it is wise to eat foods that contain vitamin C.

It's good you know...

Exercise can be beneficial. Walking is a good option. Check with your doctor before you start exercising. A better informed woman will be a better mother, so we invite you to learn some techniques to manage pain and to plan your birth.
